Quality news, where you want it, when you want it.
The NW Examiner was founded in 1986 by Editor and Publisher Allan Classen, who still does most of the reporting every month. It provides serious in-depth stories on the area plus all-local news of development, community events, restaurants and obituaries.
The distribution area includes Northwest Portland from the Willamette River to the West Hills beyond the city limits and a slice of Southwest Portland north of Highway 26. A saturation mailing of about 23,000 copies is sent to homes and businesses in the area.
